Whether you’ve come for work or a brief escape, The Craft recommends you take a look at these special corners in the center of the city, where we have our private Showroom.
We begin in the very heart of Paseo de Gracia, where we are welcomed at the Hotel Monument, located in a pre-modernist palace on the corner of Calle Mallorca. The design and layout of the palace are captivating, and we decide to bring out the camera and improvise a photoshoot in this setting.
Starting on the roof terrace, a green oasis complete with outdoor swimming pool and sun loungers, it’s easy to forget we are in the city! The view is absolutely stunning!
They tell us that Sunday brunch at the terrace restaurant is not to be missed, with a menu expertly crafted by Michelin-star chef Martín Berasategui. Next time, perhaps–we take note that it’s the first and third Sunday of every month.
We leave to take a walk on Paseo de Gracia, with obligatory photo stops in front of Gaudi’s houses: Casa Batlló and la Pedrera. This avenue is recognized internationally for its beauty, and we take our time wondering at its many marvels. The storefronts it boasts are eye-catching, allowing you atleast to admire the window-displays of luxury shops and their grand, modernist vestibules with stately decorations.
We walk over to Enric Granados, one of the most beautiful and well-kept streets of the city. Filled with restaurants and terraces, we make a stop at the restaurant Publico which is located right next door to our Showroom. The restaurant features market cuisine and a friendly waitstaff, and we decide to have a bite at the luxury bar: brioche with steak tartare, wafers with red tuna belly, and beers. We are left wanting more, but it is time to move on!
A few streets later we head to the Ochiai pastry shop, a place where Catalan and Japanese traditions merge, winners of the Best Artisan Croissant award in 2013. We treated ourselves to an apricot pastry which barely made it out of the shop.
We returned to the hotel for an outfit change and resumed our photoshoot, choosing a modern and sophisticated venu: the Oria cocktail bar and restaurant (Michelin star included). The perfect environment for our image campaign–we are committed to delivering elevated looks, ideal for parties, cocktails, weddings and special events. Our model shone in pieces chosen from our private, custom-made collection.
